Philosophy & Process

Investment Edge
  • Perspective -away from the crowd; challenge market assumpotions;search for what the market missed.
  • Conviction - look past short-term volatility to long-term potential.
  • Generalist Approach - all analysts contribute to each idea; avoids unchallenged, industry specialist mentality.
  • Synergies of Group Discussion - the group is more creative than any one individual.

Philosophy
Through in-depth original research, we have the opportunity to develop proprietary knowledge about a business.

We use this knowledge to create the best possible estimate of intrinsic value and strive to generate excess returns by investing at a significant discount to intrinsic value, with a long-term perspective.
